Earlene Caldwell, MA, LPC blends a unique background of business professional and therapist. After a 20-year career in the business sector, Earlene decided to begin graduate studies in Psychology in order to pursue her dream of helping people. Upon completing her education and training and obtaining licensure in the State of Texas, she built a successful private practice in South Texas. While there, she served on the adjunct faculty at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi teaching psychology classes and assisting first-year students in their transition to college life. Earlene is now continuing her work in the DFW area.
While Earlene is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, her graduate degree in Psychology and subsequent training allow her to easily
incorporate both counseling and psychotherapy constructs into her clients' treatment plans.
Earlene is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), a method that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that result from disturbing life experiences. She is also a student of John Gottman of The Gottman Institute who has developed an approach to marital therapy and is dedicated to saving relationships and families. Additionally, Earlene employs the use of cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness in therapy sessions.
